How do I grant access to Camera and Microphone on Safari (iPhone or iPad)?

To have an online video doctor visit on Safari, you need to provide access to your Camera and Microphone settings. 

To allow access to your Camera and Microphone:

1. Once you initiate your video visit, a pop-up will appear asking to grant access to your “Camera”                   and “Microphone”

2. Tap “Allow” to grant access

3. Please note that if you do NOT granted access to “Camera” and “Microphone” you will be                          BLOCKED from starting the video doctor visit

4. To start allowing access, follow these steps to allow HealthTap to access your “Camera” and                         “Microphone”

   a. Tap the “AA” icon in the web address/URL bar and then tap “Website Settings.” You can find the                web address/URL bar either on the top or bottom of the Safari screen

   b. Tap “Camera” and then tap “Allow”

   c. Tap “Microphone” and then tap “Allow”

   d. Tap the “Ok, Check again” button OR reload the page. You will now be able to join the video                        doctor visit

Please Note:

  • Safari will prompt you to allow healthtap.com access to your device’s camera and microphone every time you sign in or refresh the page.
