How do I upload and/or delete files on my account?

To help doctors understand your Health Profile and to sync previous medical information, you can upload files to your HealthTap account.

To upload a file to your Health Files from your computer

  1. Log in to your HealthTap account
  2. Select "Records" from the menu
  3. Choose your “Name
  4. Select "Health Files"
  5. Select the upload “Cloud” icon
  6. Select the "Attach a file"
  7. Choose the file to upload from your device
  8. For "Health file type", choose the appropriate type and if not listed choose “Other”
  9. Select the "Upload" button

 

To upload a file to your Health Files from your smartphone or device:

  1. Log in to your HealthTap account
  2. At the bottom of the screen tap "Records"
  3. New window will populate, scroll up and tap "Health Files
  4. Tap the upload “Cloud” icon
  5. Tap the "Attach a File"  highlighted in green
  6. For "Health file type", choose the appropriate type and if not listed choose “Other”
  7. Tap the "Upload" button

 

To delete an uploaded file:

  1. Select the “Trash” icon located near the file you would like to delete
  2. You will be prompted by a window that states "Remove file?"
  3. Select "Remove" to proceed with deleting the file or "Cancel" to leave the file in your file history

 

Please Note:

  • Files accepted must be in the jpg, pdf, or png format. Please convert before uploading. For movie/video files, mov, mp4, and api are accepted. 
  • File size can be up to 100 MB. 
  • Files uploaded in a Virtual Visit cannot be deleted from your account because they are a part of what constitutes a Legal Medical Record.
