To help doctors understand your Health Profile and to sync previous medical information, you can upload files to your HealthTap account.
To upload a file to your Health Files from your computer:
- Log in to your HealthTap account
- Select "Records" from the menu
- Choose your “Name”
- Select "Health Files"
- Select the upload “Cloud” icon
- Select the "Attach a file"
- Choose the file to upload from your device
- For "Health file type", choose the appropriate type and if not listed choose “Other”
- Select the "Upload" button
To upload a file to your Health Files from your smartphone or device:
- Log in to your HealthTap account
- At the bottom of the screen tap "Records"
- New window will populate, scroll up and tap "Health Files"
- Tap the upload “Cloud” icon
- Tap the "Attach a File" highlighted in green
- For "Health file type", choose the appropriate type and if not listed choose “Other”
- Tap the "Upload" button
To delete an uploaded file:
- Select the “Trash” icon located near the file you would like to delete
- You will be prompted by a window that states "Remove file?"
- Select "Remove" to proceed with deleting the file or "Cancel" to leave the file in your file history
Please Note:
- Files accepted must be in the jpg, pdf, or png format. Please convert before uploading. For movie/video files, mov, mp4, and api are accepted.
- File size can be up to 100 MB.
- Files uploaded in a Virtual Visit cannot be deleted from your account because they are a part of what constitutes a Legal Medical Record.
