We want to assure your comfort with this transition. Feel free to make an appointment with your new HealthTap Primary Care Physician (PCP) at any time. After you complete your first appointment, you will also be able to send private messages directly to your new doctor.
To change your HealthTap Primary Care Physician (PCP) on your computer:
- Log in to your HealthTap account
- Next to your doctor’s profile, select the three little dots “•••”
- Select “Change your doctor”
4. Confirm you would like to change your doctor by selecting the “Switch” button
5. Select “Your Name” then confirm your “Location” and then select the “Next” button
6. Select “Choose doctor” after reviewing the primary care doctors available to you, and when you find the one you would like to be your doctor
7. The selected doctor will become your new primary care doctor on HealthTap
To change your HealthTap Primary Care Physician (PCP) on your smartphone or device:
- Log in to your HealthTap account
- Next to your doctor’s profile, tap the three little dots “•••”
- Tap “Change your doctor”
- Confirm you would like to change your doctor by tapping the “Continue” button
- Tap “Your Name” then confirm your “Location” and then select the “Next” button
- Tap “Choose doctor” after reviewing the primary care doctors available to you, and when you find the one you would like to be your doctor
- The selected doctor will become your new primary care doctor on HealthTap

As a HealthTap subscriber, you may asynchronously message your HealthTap primary care doctor directly. AFTER your first virtual visit with your chosen primary care doctor, you can ask them follow up questions, share your medical history, or explain your current health goals or concerns.

The messaging service is ONLY available to our HealthTap subscribers and ONLY within the Primary Care clinic.
